Terms of Sale

These terms apply to quotes and orders placed with Corkage Retail. Corkage sells to businesses, not to consumers. Placing an order confirms that you are buying for a business and that you accept these terms.
1. Quotes
A quote generated on this website is an estimate, not a confirmed order. It is priced at the rates shown on the day it is generated and is valid for 7 days from the date it is generated. An order exists only once we confirm it in writing against your purchase order or written approval, and once any advance payment has been received.
Freight is not included in any quote on this site. It depends on weight, volume and destination, and is confirmed at the time of dispatch.
2. Minimum order quantity

Quantities below the minimum are available as priced samples, at a per-piece sample rate, without logo printing. Sample rates are higher per piece than production rates because there is no batch to spread setup across.
3. Samples
Samples are chargeable and are dispatched against payment. Samples are priced per piece, at a rate higher than the production rate, because there is no batch to spread setup across. If you place a production order for the same products within 30 days of the sample being dispatched, we credit you the difference between the sample rate you paid and the production rate for those pieces. That difference is the whole of the credit. The production value of the sample pieces is not refunded, and no credit applies after 30 days. Samples carry no logo unless a paid printing setup is agreed separately.
4. Logo printing
Logo printing is charged at ₹50 per piece on products other than coasters. Coaster rates already include printing. Logo printing is not available on trays and table mats.
You must supply usable print-ready artwork and you confirm that you own the rights to it, or are authorised to use it. Corkage is not responsible for infringement of anyone else's trademark or copyright in artwork supplied by you. We will share a digital proof for approval before printing. Once you approve a proof, that approval is final and the printed goods cannot be returned for reasons of logo size, placement or colour.
5. Prices and GST
All prices are in Indian Rupees. GST is applied at 5% on the quoted value and is shown separately on the quote and on the tax invoice. Prices may change without notice for quotes not yet confirmed. Any change in statutory taxes or duties between quote and dispatch is applied to the invoice.
6. Payment
Payment is 50% in advance on order confirmation and the balance 50% before dispatch. Orders are not dispatched against credit. Goods remain the property of Corkage Retail until payment is received in full.
7. Production and delivery
Indicative production time is 21 days from order confirmation and artwork approval, whichever is later. Custom and made-on-order products take longer and are quoted individually.
Delivery timelines are estimates. Corkage is not liable for delays caused by couriers, transport strikes, weather or other events outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on handover to the courier. Please inspect the consignment on arrival and record any visible transit damage with the courier before accepting it.
8. Cork is a natural material
Cork is bark. Grain, tone and texture vary between pieces, between batches and within a single object. This variation is a property of the material, not a defect, and is not grounds for return or replacement. Products are dispatched within our stated finish range but exact colour matching between batches cannot be guaranteed. If batch consistency matters to your project, order the full quantity in one production run.
9. Use and care
Corkage products are made for dry, indoor, hand-cleaned use on hospitality tabletops and in guest rooms. They are not dishwasher safe, not for use as cutting surfaces, not for prolonged outdoor or poolside exposure, and not for immersion in water. Damage caused by dishwashing, cutting, solvents, prolonged sunlight or immersion is not covered by any replacement claim.
10. Shortages, damage and replacement
Report any shortage, transit damage or manufacturing defect within 2 working days of delivery, in writing, with photographs of the goods and the outer packing. Verified manufacturing defects are replaced or credited at our option. We do not offer replacement for change of mind, for approved artwork, or for natural material variation as described in clause 8.
Custom, printed and made-on-order goods are not returnable.
11. Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the invoice value of the goods supplied. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, or costs arising from a delayed outlet opening.
12. Intellectual property
Product designs, photography, names and website content are the property of Corkage Retail and may not be reproduced or used in your own catalogues, listings or tenders without written permission.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by Indian law. Courts at Durg, Chhattisgarh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
